The version with the solid centre was included in the black Stiff box with re-issues of the first 10 singles for Stiff with cat no BUY 1-10. The Motorhead single had number BUY 9. The box was released in August 1978 and was printed in 5000 copies. Only 2500 were sold so Stiff decided to split the remaining boxes and sell the singles separately by mail order. It has scratched matrix messages and LYN no. The sleeve had a square cut-outs opening. The box also had an info insert. The Buy 7 single in the box were numbered above no 5000. Later a standard issue was released: Copies in this box had scratched matrix messages and LYN nos. All sleeves with round scoop. No info insert. The Buy 7 single in the box were numbered all numbered 0001. There are two different labels for the Stiff solid centre label. I am not sure if this correlates to the above information about two different versions of the box but that should be quite likely. However, one of them seems to be much more common than the other. The most common one has the years printed to the left. The vinyl is quite heavy, 51 gramm according to Iron Lady. Apparently there are some different matrix numbers versions for this. Version 1: A-side: LYN5890, B-side LYN 5891, Version 2: A-side: LYN 5889, B-side: 589D (and it really is a "D" and not a "0"). The second label is much lighter, 45 gramm according to Iron Lady, and have the years to the right on the label. This one has the following matrix no: A-side: LYN 5889 (just like version 2 of the heavy vinyl), B-side: LYN 5690.
