Sometimes this UK Test pressing, which is actually, made
in Germany, has been listed with "Roadrunner" as the label and the catalogue number as "GWR 5240". I think this is
just a mix up with the Dutch test pressing that was made by Roadrunner, and the catalogue number "GWR 5240" is
a mix up
of the fact that the matrix number is "B 5240" and the UK label is GWR. It can also be that "GWR 5240"
is handwritten on the label of some UK test pressing copies. Some copies, like the signed one you can see on the
picture, were housed
in plain white sleeves while others also included a proof cover. Test pressings in white sleeves were
distributed through the fan club as prizes in a competition but I donīt know how many. Maybe it was just the
first prize? Anyway, most copies seems to have been signed by Lemmy and Wurzel who did a lot of the promotion work at the
time.
Some copies were included in a promo box.
